What Is The Right Laptop?

By Mark Chubb

Having being into computers and laptops for about 20 years now, the most asked question has to be "What is the right laptop?" and this being that when people of all ages go out on the interests of buying a new laptop they really do not know what they are looking for.

I have to admit there are plenty of choices to make from display sizes, specifications, mobile technology and functionality the list can go on and on. Then there is are you using this laptop for personal use or for business then this is where you need to know what laptop suits your requirements.

We all know when going into a shop or online they pummel you with all this information of what this can do and what that do but in reality all they are doing is filling your head with jargon to make you but the high end specification model which yes you got it more money and this is what it boils down to MORE MONEY.

Me, on a personal basis, being it for home or business, would choose a laptop with at least 1024 MB RAM and at least 100GB hard disk, you really want Intel Core Duo and on a personal lever would not get a screen size under 15 inches. The list could go on for example you would be much better of with a DVD re-writer drive and you want mobile technology meaning that you can use your laptop for internet use anywhere you go that has a signal.

Many questions can be answered of which you can below and just remember it does not have to be a complete headache finding the perfect laptop for you.
