Online Think Tanks and IT System Formats ConsideredBy Lance Winslow |
|
Should an online think tank IT system include logs for its members? Similar to Blogs, but a place to store their ideas, by date. This would help them with proof of first to concept and allow others who wished to collaborate a chance to link up with like minded thinkers in similar areas of thought and scientific domains.
This of course makes sense for the online think tank members, but what else should be involved to propel thought and cooperation in innovation? Well, after considering this at length, such a system could be designed so that there was a Button on Home Page; Think Tank Fellows Speak Out. This would link to a page with the Think Tank Fellows Listed in Alphabetical Order. Each name goes to their own page with links to;
1.) all their comments and articles in alphabetical order.
2.) The Think Tank Chapter they belong too (which also has a link to their Online Forum) and a blub about their topics of interest.
3.) their page can have various information that they see fit, introduction to themselves, interests, hobbies, Biography, academic achievements, resume, picture or whatever they choose.
Each "Speak Out Item" then links to a separate page with the article, pictures, charts and/or comment. This would be in addition to their local clubs Special Forum used by only those members. If the clubs get too big, they sub-divide by interests. Those without local clubs yet, or chose to run solo can work online with the main group, but have access too all in the Member Only Area;- Reading Library
- Directory Search of entire site
- Etc.
Building the infrastructure for an online think tank will not be easy. It will take careful considerations. I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought. The goal is simple; to help you in your quest to be the best in 2007. I thank you for reading my many articles on diverse subjects, which interest you. |
