Wireless SqueezeBox 3By Darren Taylor |
|
Not so long ago we got up close and personal with the Sondigo Sirocco Wireless Audio bridge, while it was a great product for those looking to stream music from their PC to their home entertainment system, it lacked a few required elements and features. The fact that you could only control your playlist via the music source it is stored on, meant that if you had your music source in a different room to your entertainment system, you better get your running shoes on. Flitting from one room to another while we had the Sirrocco in use was a regular task that certainly was not welcomed and was very annoying.
A company called Slim Devices has solved this very annoying problem with The SqueezeBox3. Not only does the SqueezeBox allow you to play your digitalized music collection through your stereo system using either wireless or ethernet connections, but you can also listen to internet radio, set alarms, display RSS feeds and use the SqueezeBox as a wireless bridge to easily connect non-wireless devices to your wireless network.
No more will we have to run from room to room ajusting our playlist, the SqueezeBox comes to you with a candy shaped remote control, plus a whole host of other features. Want to know more? Then read on and we shall enlighten you to what is: The SqueezeBox3.
